gearing up for CNY

my room is now gorgeous! yay! but i'm gonna have to move all the decor over to the new room on tues. hmph. oh well.

moving is tiring.

brokeback mountain is amazing. a definite must-watch for anyone who's not homophobic. though i'm not sure how much singapore's gonna censor it... seriously doubt some scenes will make it through the cut. which is kinda sad coz brokeback's not brokeback without those scenes.

anw, won't say more coz the movie definitely deserves a first hand experience, not a 5 minute summary by me.

summer in melbourne

weather: HOT. averaging 40-plus degrees. 30-ish at night.
life: equivalent to living in an oven.
packing status: house is STILL in a mess.
fridge contents: 3 potatoes, slices of cheese, stale milk, choc sauce, crumble, 2 salted eggs.
presents received: my mom sent a red packet over for me! along with new year decor, calligraphy pens and a plastic orange! yay i love my mummy!
countdown to the big move to the next block: 7 days. boo... i'll miss my room.
countdown to bena's arrival: 19 days!
latest furnishings: full length mirror!
